Welcome to ProVent Cleaning. By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before scheduling an appointment.
1. Services Provided
We provide professional home services in the Kansas City metro area, including (but not limited to):
• Dryer vent cleaning
• Installation of light fixtures and ceiling fans
• Installation of window blinds
• Installation of doorknobs and locks
We reserve the right to decline any service request if conditions are unsafe, if the requested work is outside our scope, or if customer-provided materials are incompatible.
2. Customer Responsibilities
• Ensure safe and clear access to the work area.
• Confirm that customer-provided products (fans, fixtures, blinds, locks, etc.) are correct, compatible, and free of defects.
• Disclose any relevant wiring, structural, or mechanical issues that may affect the service.
• Provide a safe working environment free of hazards.
If we arrive and cannot complete the service due to access or safety issues, a trip fee of $50 may apply.
3. Payments & Deposits
• Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• For larger projects or special-order materials, a deposit may be required.
• Deposits are non-refundable if the appointment is canceled less than 48 hours before service.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Our Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings. In summary:
• Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance are free.
• Late cancellations may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
• Dryer vent cleaning is covered by a 48-hour satisfaction guarantee.
• Installation services are non-refundable once completed, but workmanship is guaranteed for 7 days.
• No refunds are given for defective or incompatible customer-supplied products.

5. Warranty & Limitations
• We guarantee our workmanship for 7 days after service.
• We are not responsible for:
• Manufacturer defects in customer-supplied products.
• Pre-existing electrical, plumbing, or structural issues.
• Damage caused by improper use, maintenance, or unrelated repairs.
• Liability is limited to the cost of the service performed. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
6. Cooling-Off Rule Notice
Under federal law (FTC Cooling-Off Rule), customers may have up to 3 business days to cancel certain in-home sales of $25 or more. This rule typically does not apply to scheduled services you request from us, but if you believe it applies to your situation, please contact us immediately.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas and the State of Missouri. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of the county where the service was performed.
